Un electric bike without battery? Serious ? Yes, the world of bike never stop evolving. Recently, the STEE company launched an innovative, ultra-practical and ecological model. Since cyclists often complain about the autonomy of their vehicle and also the need to recharge it regularly, now there is a better alternative to conventional electric bicycles.

The particularities of Pipop

Baptized Pipop, the first electric bike without battery was made by an electronics company located in Olivet, in the Loiret department in the Center Val-de-Loire region. It takes on the appearance and characteristics of the classic electrically assisted bicycle, except that it is not equipped with a battery and it does not require recharging.

In fact, this new bike is equipped with super-capacitors capable of storing energy from the effort produced by its user, then returning it in the form of electrical assistance. Thus, the more cyclist pedal, the more the Pipop can travel several kilometers.

Currently available in only a few models, the battery-free electric bike is offered at 1995 euros. The STEE company plans to manufacture about XNUMX more units to meet fan demand and aims to produce XNUMX until the end of this year to guarantee the expansion of its creation.

The advantages of the electric bike without battery

The very first asset of the battery-free electric bike is its weight. It weighs only 20 kg. So it is easier to pedal, move and transport. This model of bike also saves considerable time and money. There is no need to recharge it, nor to go to a service station to connect the cable. Just pedal.

The battery-free e-bike also consumes no fuel or electricity. It does not have components that contain rare earths and it does not emit polluting gases. Thus, it can therefore be considered as a green and ecological vehicle. It allows you to do a small gesture for the environment, given its planet-friendly characteristics.

The other advantage of the battery-free electric bike is also its performance. It can perfectly meet the needs of cyclists, since it suffices to adapt the rhythm of pedaling to each constraint of the journey to obtain the necessary speed. To accelerate, you actually have to press a little more on the pedals. And the same goes for hills or big climbs.
